Stanford Golf Coach Conrad Ray

ConradRay2019-90 Coach Ray was inducted into the Golf Coach's Hall of Fame in 2017. Under Conrad's guidance, in 2019 the Cardinal closed with 5 straight victories and won the school's 9th national championship, as Coach Ray was named Dave Williams National Coach of the Year for the 2nd time. In the 2007 NCAA Finals, Stanford under Coach Ray claimed an eighth national title. A Stanford alum, Conrad was named 2007 Pac-10 Coach of the Year and Dave Williams National Coach of the Year in 2007. Conrad was also named Pac-12 Coach of the Year in 2014 and 2016. He played on the Nationwide Tour and other tours for 6 years and achieved 12 top-10 finishes. Stanford student-athletes have been well decorated under Ray's watch, as he has helped produce dozens of All-Americans, four Pac-12 Players of the Year, three Pac-12 Scholar-Athletes of the Year, three Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and 21 All-Pac-12 first team selections.
